Using this site

You are welcome to read, link to, and quote The Teaconomist with attribution. The pages are produced by an automated editorial system and are offered as general industry information. We work to be accurate and to attribute every figure to a named source, but we make no warranty that every page is complete or current.

This is reporting, not advice. The Teaconomist explains what prices and markets are doing and why; it does not tell anyone to buy, sell, or hold, and nothing here is investment, financial, or trading advice. Taking part

When you react, comment, ask a question, suggest a correction, or subscribe, you agree to use the site honestly and on topic. Do not post spam, advertising, abuse, unlawful content, or anyone's private information, and do not submit anything you do not have the right to share. Submissions are moderated before they appear and may be declined or removed at our discretion, with a reason recorded. Questions and corrections are treated as pointers: we research independently and write our own answer, so your text is not published as written. You keep ownership of what you submit, and grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, moderate, and (for comments) display it under your pseudonymous handle.

Corrections

If a figure, date, or fact is wrong, tell us at [email protected] or with the correction link on the page. If the source backs you, we fix it and mark the change. A news item stays a record of its moment: we do not rewrite it as a story develops, but we will carry a dated correction when a fact in it was wrong.

Removal and your data

We may remove content or suspend participation that breaks these terms. You can stop taking part at any time, unsubscribe from any email, and request erasure of your data (see the Privacy Policy).

Liability

To the extent the law allows, The Teaconomist and The Monsoon Wire are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site or reliance on its contents, including any decision taken on the strength of a figure reported here. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits, so parts of this may not apply to you.
